Transferring files across platforms was trivial. I've recommended Freemind to friends over the years, especially as I was working between Windows at work and macOS at home. Also, it appears Freemind has a plugin architecture one of which uses internal apple jdk classes that are now gone.Īll told I bet you this is a 5 minute fix for a Freemind dev with a mac that can observe the problem, but probably a lot more time for someone not familiar with the project. I lowest JDK for M1 macs I can find is 11, but maybe I need to look harder. The ant build script targets 1.3 java and Intellij isn't correctly importing the eclipse project. The SecurityManager methods that were deprecated long ago are now gone and I don't know what the replacements are. I just tried to build Freemind, but so much has changed since the 1.0.1 source. I have an M1 Mac Monterey, can anyone confirm that all Macs on Monterey are affected and not just the M1?
